Its a general bug. I've heard of worse things happening when you alt+tab out...like the floors turning purple and other weird video effects. It happens on almost any game though....not HL2 exclusive.

Hrmm when I alt tab out of cs:s I dont get any werid affects, but in cs and tfc I do I guss even battlefield 1942. So maybe I havent been alt tabing out of cs:s enough for me to get the glitches or my computer is just special .
